Workplace Pensions Live 2016 was a great success. Hundreds of delegates enjoyed almost 30 sessions across two days at Edgbaston Stadium.
Highlights included keynote talks from Andrew Sentence on the latest economic developments, Paul Craven on behavioural finance, Gerald Ratner on business gaffes and David Robson on artificial intelligence in the finance industry.
There were lively discussions covering value for money, 21st-century trusteeship, stressed DB schemes, Brexit, a pensions dashboard, and how to make the pension system fairer.
The exhibition hall – where the shortlist for this year’s Engaged Investor Trustee Awards were announced – was also abuzz with debate over the two days.
I’d like to extend a big thank you to all of our sponsors, speakers and delegates for helping to make the event such a success.
Planning for WPL 2017 is already underway – I hope to see you there at Edgbaston on the 10th and 11th May next year.
